Summer Blossoms

Earlier this week my family and I drove up the canyon to see the wildflowers. They were absolutely gorgeous, however, our evening didn’t get off to a great start. First, my son started throwing up in the car and felt really sick. My husband and I took turns carrying him up the mountain because he was so lethargic. Real fun. Then, I got a huge scrape on my leg and it started bleeding. Third, I stepped in an ant hill. Disgusting! And to round out the evening, my husband and I started arguing because of all of the above. Haha! At least I was happy about my new dress from Target. The smocking detail is so pretty and I love how classic it is, while still seeming updated and fresh. It’s the perfect dress for summer! And while it wasn’t a perfect night, it still turned out pretty fun and I was glad we were all together. Summer nights are the best!
