We all know getting in shape is hard. Luckily for me, I have genetics that keep me around a certain size, however, it wasn’t too long ago that I felt absolutely terrible. For the last 4-5 years, I really struggled with the motivation to get my body back in shape (I used to workout a lot). Prior to getting cancer, I worked out pretty regularly and stayed around the same weight, but since that time, I just couldn’t get back into it. I put on about 10 pounds and felt like garbage. I had zero energy.
But something clicked for me this past January. I found an exercise that I loved….boxing….and I haven’t looked back since. Now, I am 4 months into my journey and I feel better than ever. Seriously! It feels good! I’ve lost about 15 pounds and have never had more muscle than I do now. I feel fantastic! I’m not at my goal yet, but I am determined to get there.
If you’re like me, and probably most women, part of what keeps you motivated is having new workout clothes that fit great. Lately, I’ve been buying a lot of athletic wear so I thought I would share with you my favorite pieces that I wear constantly. All of these items are inexpensive, fit fantastic, and totally on trend. Honestly, I love them so much and am super excited to share them with you too. Everything is under $100 as well. Yay! I am very particular with how my clothes fit (especially if I’m working out in them) and since I’m telling you these are my absolute favorites….you know they’re good.
Here are my top 10 picks:
For reference, I generally wear a small in bottoms.
Tops really vary depending on the brand but I typically wear an extra small or small.
