We all know how important a LBD (little black dress) is to our wardrobe. It’s a classic piece, is probably the most worn item in your closet, and if you’re lucky enough to find the right one, it can take you from work, to night, and out to play with just a few styling tweaks.
I recently came across this one that is only $28 and was so excited; I couldn’t wait to wear it! It’s more interesting than the typical LBD because it is on the shoulder but also off the shoulder, knee length but also midi length…confused? Haha! The combination of these details provide A LOT of impact for very little money. Yay! I recently wore it in Pinehurst, North Carolina out to a nice dinner and paired it with these nude ankle strap heels (that I wear ALL the time) and these gorgeous (and very inexpensive; they’re $3) black and gold earrings.
And just when you thought this OTS (off the shoulder) LBD couldn’t be more amazing, it can also be worn a million different ways, which means your CPW (cost per wear) is very low! Are you tired of acronyms yet? đŸ™‚ Anyway, you can also easily take this dress to work by topping it with a nice blazer or cardigan and some classic black pumps….or you can wear it for a casual Saturday look with a cute graphic tee (worn over the dress and knotted on the side) and some flats. I think you get the point. This dress is a MUST for your wardrobe this summer and fall!

Below are some one shoulder dresses that are very similar to the one I wore above and one of them is only $15!
Lastly, here are some nearly identical nude ankle strap heels that are a definite closet staple! My Steve Maddens can be paired with just about anything and I wear them at least once a week.
Happy shopping!
